Thursday Update #6: Leaps and Blocks

Don't have anything too exciting to report this week, other than the blocking animation is all the way done. I managed to knock out frames 2 and 3 this week, so I'm pretty happy about that.


Currently, I'm working on the base model for the jumping animation. I have the first frame done out of 5 total I think I'm going to use, so I should have the animation base finished by next week and be in the middle of working the armor sets for the jumping animation.


Unfortunately, the animation creation process is pretty damn boring both to do and talk about but it has so far been the longest part by far of making Blackwarden. Apparently this is where most people break and put down their first game project forever, so I'm just looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I don't think I'll see it for another couple months, but what can you do. At least, I would say, I'm over the halfway point.
