Thursday Update #19: Switching Gears

This week, has been a little different. The good news is that the tier 4 enemies are all done, I got the rest finished Friday. Kinda ridiculous how long the Spellblade took, especially by comparison. The next step I want to do is to get the animations created into spritesheets and imported into Unity. While I was thinking about how I was going to go about doing that, I decided I needed a refresher on the Unity engine and coding. So that's what I've been doing. Rewatching hours of how to videos, mostly about coding. Luckily, I've already done all the sample projects and things so it's coming back fairly quickly, but I'm still going through a several week long course in just a few days and my brain feels melty.
Once I've decided enough is enough, which is going to be soon, I can get the animations into the game and start working on backgrounds and environmental assets. The whole reason I wanted to import the sprites I've made now was to get an accurate idea of how big I need to make everything in relation to the characters. I still have four more sets of enemies to animate, not to mention the bosses I haven't even started on, but it'll be exciting to have a little demo/prototype to show off.
